Unit price perThe RUPES LHR125E Duetto is an all-in-one system for sanding and polishing painted surfaces. It works with both soft or interface backing pads, combined with micro-abrasives in the defect correction phase, and with foam pads and polishing compounds in the finishing phase.
The 12mm orbit was chosen after extensive research into random orbital dynamics, significantly improving the surface rectification capability of state-of-the-art micro-abrasive discs. This combination is especially effective in correcting "orange peel" and significant defects, generating a homogeneous and predictable finish, without deep sanding marks.
The use of micro-abrasive discs to correct severe defects creates an easy-to-polish surface, drastically reducing the total time of the complete correction process. The Duetto is so balanced and has such low vibration that the operator can easily control the sanding phase by merely guiding the machine over the surface — minimizing the risk of creating uneven surfaces that would require rework.
Design features:
- Anti-rotation device, which reduces the margin of error even for less experienced technicians
- Front handle positioned at the virtual balance center of the tool, minimizing vibration
- Electronic module with integrated torque control, reducing the need for significant vertical pressure
- Rubber support that allows the machine to be placed on a workbench without the abrasive disc touching contaminated surfaces
- Compatible with micro-abrasive discs and the appropriate 5" interface pad
